Air Hotel

Alsco has through its subsidiary UAB Air Hotel signed a long term lease agreement with Kaunas Airport that gives the right to build and operate an airport hotel in the heart of Kaunas Airport, just next door to the terminal building.

Kaunas Airport is one of Europes fastest growing airports. As per September 2011 there are 19 directs flights to European destinations from Kaunas, and the airport is an Eastern European hub for Ryanair. The annual growth in passenger traffic last year was 77%, and the airport is now among the 300 largest airports in Europe. The airport is not only used by people flying in and out of Lithuania, but also by people from Latvia, Belarus, the Kaliningrad region and the northern parts of Poland.

The airport has an expansive growth plan over the next years and several new investments in the airport infrastructure are expected.

The plan of Alsco is that step 1 of the hotel will be built within 3 years with a minimum size of 8500 square meters.

Hotel 2

The hotel will be located just behind the terminal building in the opposite side of the short term parking.


The hotel is planned in 4 building steps in order to grow together with the airport.
